About elderlycaree
elderlycaree is an independent guide to care homes. Families use it for free. Care homes pay for a listing and for tools that show how families find them. Money never buys a rating or a higher place in search.
Every home we publish is visited, and its registration is checked against what that state requires.
Privacy
We collect a name and mobile number only when you book a visit, ask for a call, or reveal a phone number. Those details go only to the home you contacted. We do not sell them.
Lead details are kept for 24 months and then anonymised. Notes are not a medical record. Write a diagnosis only if you want the home to see it.
You can ask to see or delete your details by writing to privacy@elderlycaree.example. That address is also the grievance contact for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Counsel should confirm this notice before launch.
Terms
Families use the site for free. Listings are prepared by homes and checked by us, but a visit is still the right way to decide. Care homes accept the provider terms when they create an account.
Reviews must come from a real visit or a real family. A review offered for a discount or a gift is removed, and the home is warned.
Accessibility
Body text starts at 18 pixels. The text size switch in the header has three steps and is remembered on this browser. Buttons are at least 44 pixels. The focus ring is always visible. Pages work from the keyboard.
